Content Marketing has been around for a long time, and although it has been hiding behind other more popular terms recently like “Social Media Marketing”, “Copywriting” and “SEO”, it really is the fuel behind these other marketing terms and tactics.

“Content marketing means creating and sharing valuable content to attract and convert prospects into customers, and customers into repeat buyers. The type of content you share is closely related to what you sell; in other words, you’re educating people so that they know, like, and trust you enough to do business with you.”

If you are serious about content marketing…then you need to be creating and sharing content that is not about you and your services, but is about the interests and passions of your target market.

Many businesses struggle with this concept, but it helps if you look at it in the light of talking with someone in a social situation.  If you only talk about yourself and your properties, then the person interacting with you will likely become bored very quickly, unless they are 100% ready to purchase property services.  This could eliminate 99% of your conversations.
